Northern Elevator Limited have secured the first contract of many with one of the UK’s leading facilities management companies.

The initial contract consists of 10 lifts over 7 sites and is the start of a great working relationship. NEL will be servicing each lift 4 times a year, focusing heavily on preventative maintenance. Northern Elevator chose this approach with the aim of keeping customers’ equipment safe and reliable for as long as possible, reducing call out costs.

It is imperative that a facilities management company can rely on a dependable lift service provider. With a wide range of responsibilities, they need to be able to rely on capable engineers to carry out suitable service visits as well as rectify any issues quickly to avoid downtime.

Northern Elevator currently holds the service contract for more than 1300 lifts across multiple sectors, looking after passenger lifts, platform lifts, dumbwaiters, fire fighter lifts, goods lifts, escalators, and car lifts. There are 25 highly qualified and experienced engineers focused on providing the best service possible on the ground. Each engineer has had extensive training and hold all relevant certifications.
